About The Position

A Pharmacy Technician - Strategic Response Team (SRT) contributes to AHF by demonstrating the competencies of a Level II Technician as described in the Scope of Practice and Responsibilities found in the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual. This role also involves remaining sensitive to the “stigma” of people living with HIV (PLWH) and associated comorbidities, understanding the difficulty of treating chronic diseases, barriers to care, and the importance of patients’ needs to maintain anonymity and privacy. The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for AHF's top initiatives, ensuring that the AHF core Values and Mission are always considered. AHF operates with a collaborative organizational structure, requiring staff to be nimble and adaptable in a dynamic environment to provide the best experience for clients and employees. The Pharmacy Technician - SRT will work as part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff, and referral sources to facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.

Responsibilities
