About The Position

The Retail Pharmacy Technician prepares and sells medications, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, as well as provides bedside delivery services. This position fulfills a number of additional responsibilities, and reports directly to the Manager Retail Pharmacy Operations. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
1 year Pharmacy
Pharmacy Tech, State Cert (PHT) - State Licensing Board
Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification
Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
Pharmacy Intern Permit (PHINTERN) - State Licensing Board

Responsibilities

Assist in the ordering and maintenance of an economic and adequate inventory, to service the needs of the client and the requirements of their patients.
Participate in cycle counting process and the resolution of any discrepancies.
Assist in the maintenance of all medication storage areas.
Assist in the receiving and placement of incoming stock to medication storage areas.
Replenish dispensing areas with medication stock and supplies.
Replenish automation equipment with medication stock and supplies.
