Requirements
- Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail pharmacy is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, and medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with PrimeRx/Micromerchant is preferred but not required.
- Certification and ability to administer vaccinations is not required but highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation.
- Manage medication inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and proper storage
- Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software systems
- Troubleshoot insurance rejections and handle prior authorizations.
