About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician, Order Fulfillment plays a key role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities. This includes developing close relationships with patients in communities we serve and assisting the pharmacists in accurately preparing and delivering prescription medication.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in mail order or retail pharmacy setting as a Pharmacy Technician, preferred
- Active Ohio Registration, in good standing
- Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong typing and data entry skills
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in filling prescription orders, as permitted by the State Boards of Pharmacy, including picking, packing, and shipping.
- Perform a combination of manual and/or automated tasks necessary for the receipt and storage of products.
- Input patient data and prescription information into pharmacy information management system.
- Data Entry of prescriptions in pharmacy system.
- Maintain knowledge of and abide by applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
