About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen, Moundview is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee to join its retail pharmacy team. The role works closely with a Pharmacist to enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels, fill prescriptions, answer patient phone inquiries, and support daily pharmacy operations.

The position is scheduled for 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE), with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. There are no weekend or holiday shifts. Pharmacy Technician Trainees work 40 hours per week for three months during training, then transition to 0.5 FTE. After program completion, Wisconsin registration, and successful completion of the national exam, trainees transition to a Pharmacy Technician position.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician: High school diploma or equivalency.
• Pharmacy Technician: Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Pharmacy Technician: Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin.
• Pharmacy Technician: Nationally recognized pharmacy technician certification (CPht or ExCPT), or willingness to become certified within six months of hire.
• Pharmacy Technician Trainee: High school diploma or equivalency.
