About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen, Moundview is seeking a full-time Outpatient Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee to join our retail pharmacy team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Pharmacist to enter prescription data, calculate dispensing quantities, prepare medication labels, fill prescriptions, answer patient phone inquiries, and support daily pharmacy operations. Pharmacy Tech Trainees will work 40 hours/week x 3 months and then transition to 0.5 FTE after training. Upon program completion, WI registration, and successful national exam, you will transition to a Pharmacy Technician position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience (for Pharmacy Tech)
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of WI (for Pharmacy Tech)
• Nationally-recognized certification for pharmacy technician credential (CPht or ExCPT) or willingness to become certified within 6 months of hire (for Pharmacy Tech)
