About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician Level 1 practices the profession of pharmacy in an environment focused by philosophy and policy on patient care. The technician supports prescription processing, medication inventory and ordering, pharmacy initiatives, and the maintenance of a clean, professional pharmacy while protecting patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities
- Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory.
- Enter customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
- Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
- Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
- Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
- Stock prescription medication.
- Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
- Prioritize workload.
- Use effective communication skills and act as an agent of change.
- Maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
