About The Position

VytlOne is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician-In-Training to work at Unity Health Pharmacy in Anacostia, Washington, DC. The paid training program provides on-the-job training alongside pharmacy professionals and assistance with obtaining PTCB National Certification and a DC Pharmacy Technician license. Pay is $21 per hour, with raises after obtaining those credentials.

The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Candidates must be able to work within those hours and allow additional time for opening and closing duties. The role focuses on customer service, pharmacy operations, medication safety, and learning the skills needed to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Computer experience.
• Proven track record of exemplary customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and interact with a wide variety of individuals to provide optimal patient care.
• Ability to work within the pharmacy's Monday–Friday hours of 8:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m., with additional time for opening and closing duties.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate work ethic and dependability.
