About The Position
At NorthBay Health, the Pharmacy Technician II works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager and oversight by the Staff Pharmacists. This role involves performing technician functions, assisting with drug dispensing and record keeping, and maintaining pharmacy inventory levels and integrity both within and outside the pharmacy.
Requirements
- High school graduate preferred.
- Registration as Pharmacy technician or Intern Pharmacist with the California State Board of Pharmacy is required.
- Completion of pharmacy technologist training program.
- One year of institutional Pharmacy Technician experience required.
- Knowledge of the laws involved in hospital pharmacy practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate competency in basic pharmaceutical calculations.
- Ability to type 25 wpm.
- Previous computer experience.

- Ability to communicate clearly needs and situational assessments.
