About The Position
Assists in the preparation, packaging, delivery, and charging of medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist. Processes new medication orders, discharges, and transfers. Stocks medications and manages inventory. Participates in Pharmacy quality assurance activities and assists pharmacists with various duties.
Requirements
- Current Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with all levels of the organization.
- Must clear a background check and drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience.
- Good organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Pharmacy Technician certification.
