About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician II at our Wilson Community Health Center will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacist / Director of Medication Adherence Clinic in various pharmacy services including patient eligibility as well as medication access, filling, and dispensing process in accordance with applicable rules and laws by governing bodies including the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Responsibilities will focus on providing pharmacy services to patients enrolled in the medication adherence clinic (pillbox and medication synchronization programs).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Computer literacy
  • Must be self-directed with good organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a high level of comfort interacting with medical providers, pharmacists, pharmacy department staff, and, most importantly patients
  • Previous pharmacy work experienced is required
  • Valid North Carolina Driver's license - travel is required to all Carolina Family Health locations
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
