About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician I - Retail position is a full-time role located at Glenbrook Hospital. The primary responsibilities include assisting the Pharmacist with preparing, filling, and dispensing medications, maintaining patient records, setting up, packaging, and labeling medication doses, and maintaining inventory of drug supplies. This role is part of Endeavor Health, a large integrated healthcare delivery system serving over 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties. Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved pharmacy technician examination, within 2 years of initial licensure.

Nice To Haves

• Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred
• Retail experience preferred for retail positions
