Pharmacy Technician I - Early Phase Clinical Research - Dallas, TX
About The Position
As one of the largest Clinical Research Organizations in the world, we have four Early Phase Clinical Research Units in the UK and US. We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and is eager to grow within the pharmaceutical industry. This is a full-time, office-based position in Dallas, TX. If you join us, you will work with some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development: establishing the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of a new drug.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in a quality, R&D, or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and data integrity principles.
- Direct hospital or long-term care pharmacy technician experience.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to learn complex technical processes.
- Exhibits initiative and consistently follows through on assigned responsibilities.
- Demonstrates a strong interest in learning and understanding procedures and systems beyond routine task execution.
- Adaptable and enthusiastic about learning new skills and tackling challenges.
- Committed to professional growth and long-term engagement in the role.
- Teamwork and people skills are essential for the study to run smoothly.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with sterile compounding or pharmaceutical manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician and/or Pharmacy Technician Certification, per applicable state requirements highly desired.
- Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work with some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development: establishing the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of a new drug.
- Operate lab equipment.
- Access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
- Collect data directly into an electronic environment.
