Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for the filling and packaging of prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner for delivery to our customers.

Requirements

1+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience)
Basic computer skills required
Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
Great attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies
Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements)

Nice To Haves

Experience with Dosis or Parata is a plus but not required.
National Certification preferred (PTCB)

Responsibilities

Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
Apply labels to medication packaging, scan, package, and assemble medications into appropriate bins accurately and in a timely manner.
Alert the pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
Operate medication packaging equipment as required.
Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas, including the operation of packaging equipment.
Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate medication supplies are available to complete orders.
Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused medications, marking used bottles, organizing inventory, and assisting with physical inventory as needed.
Consistently meet the pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels while maintaining strong attention to detail and a steady work pace.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and other functional areas to keep workflow moving smoothly and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, return medications to appropriate locations, and replenish necessary supplies.
Perform duties in a fast-paced, labor-intensive overnight environment, with the majority of work involving medication packaging and potentially extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
Maintain a current Pharmacy Technician license as required for the position.
Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.
