Pharmacy Technician Diversion Specialist
About The Position
The Pharmacy Tech Specialist Diversion supports the Main Line Health Controlled Substance (CS) Diversion Prevention Program by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting controlled substance use patterns across the hospital and health system. The Tech utilizes diversion surveillance software, ADC dispensing technologies, and EHR data to identify potential data anomalies among nurses, pharmacists, and physicians. The Tech works under the direction of Pharmacy Leadership and collaborates with MLH Nursing Leadership, MLH Medical Staff Leadership, contracted anesthesia leadership and IT to ensure safe and compliant controlled substance handling.
Requirements
- 1 year pharmacy tech experience
- 1 year experience using automated dispensing cabinets and HER
- Certified Pharmacy Technician required
- PA state board of pharmacy: pharmacy technician registration required
Responsibilities
