We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician who will play a hybrid role, balancing billing coordination, patient care support, and clerical responsibilities. Requirements

  • Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Assistance, Medical Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in billing, pharmacy support, or patient services.
  • Knowledge of billing systems, pharmacy or healthcare software, and office tools.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and analyze customer billing and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare invoices, audit and edit pre-bills, and resolve billing inquiries.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, perform reconciliations, and prepare reports on outstanding balances and collections.
  • Contact clients regarding payments, billing options, and account status.
  • Greet and direct patients, schedule appointments, and verify insurance eligibility.
  • Collect and process payments, reconcile patient accounts, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide administrative support for patient inquiries and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Handle mail distribution, and preparation of invoices, receipts, and reports.
  • Support general office operations to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
