About The Position

This role provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support to pharmacists. Responsibilities include refilling, maintaining, and monitoring automated dispensing systems, preparing medication orders, maintaining pharmacy inventory, and repackaging bulk medications. The technician will also receive, organize, and properly store incoming pharmacy supplies. A key aspect of the role is serving as a liaison between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare professionals, providing information and support as needed at Alexian PACE. Other duties and tasks may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Must possess all state and local qualifications.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Active pharmacy technician license/registration with the Tennessee State Board of Pharmacy is required.

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcare Association preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or PTCB.)
• PACE or LTC experience preferred.
