Requirements
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
- Must possess all state and local qualifications.
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmacy distribution services and technical support to assist pharmacists at the PACE pharmacy site.
- Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems to ensure medication availability.
- Prepare medication orders and manage pharmacy inventory and supplies.
- Repackage bulk medications and properly receive/store incoming shipments.
- Act as a liaison between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare professionals by providing necessary information and support.
