About The Position

This role provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support to pharmacists. The Pharmacy Technician Advocate will refill, maintain, and monitor automated dispensing systems. They will also prepare medication orders, maintain pharmacy inventory, and repackage bulk medications. Additionally, they will receive, organize, and properly store incoming pharmacy supplies. The Pharmacy Technician Advocate will serve as a liaison between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare professionals, providing information and support as needed at Alexian PACE. Other duties and tasks may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
Must possess all state and local qualifications.
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or PTCB.)
Active pharmacy technician license/registration with the Tennessee State Board of Pharmacy is required.
PACE or LTC experience.

Nice To Haves

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
