About The Position
Responsible for assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records. The Pharmacy Tech works under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivelant
- Certified pharmacy technician
- Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.
- Ability to set priorities and problem-solve.
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers.
- Sitting, walking or standing for long periods of time is often necessary (4-8 hrs).
- Must be able to physically operate equipment used for the job.
Nice To Haves
- Some college
- 2-3 years of pharmacy experience
