About The Position

The Respiratory Care Manager is responsible for providing care which includes assessment, treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. They consult with physicians and provide consultation, instruction, and/or technical direction of medical, nursing, and other staff members. The manager is responsible for the daily operation and long range planning of the department. The duties include but are not limited to management of human resources, quality assurance in the provision of patient care, and fiscal management of the department.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• Georgia license as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Current CPR card or obtain with 60 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• At least two years’ experience in a hospital or medical related environment.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.

Nice To Haves

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree
• NRP certification
• Management experience preferred
