About The Position
This part-time, benefited position works 20 hours per week. Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Pharmacy Tech performs job responsibilities authorized by Idaho Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in recording and dispensing medications.
- Demonstrate competency in IV technique annually.
- Oversee the Pyxis program.
- Document all pharmacy transactions accurately and promptly.
- Prepare IV syringes according to proper procedures.
- Maintain Emergency Room drug inventory and supplies.
- Prepare the monthly State narcotic report when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
