This position is located at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center's main campus in Globe, AZ. This location offers services to our regional clinics and uses advanced technology, to enable patient access and convenience.

Requirements

High School diploma or the equivalent
Two-years related pharmacy experience
Appropriate certificates or licenses required for the position, Certified Pharmacy Technician, AZ Board of Pharmacy License
Must possess good organizational, problem solving and computer skills.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with all levels of staff, physicians, patients and other contacts.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Basic computer knowledge and knowledge of automated pharmacy systems
Must be motivated

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the pharmacist.
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients.
Consistently demonstrates an ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives, and choose the appropriate course of action.

Communicates among a number of individuals, including patients, co-workers, insurance companies, and prescribers.
Works on a team to fulfill prescription orders from start to finish with an in-depth understanding of each workstation.

Balances quality and efficiency in all tasks, contributing to both patient outcomes and broader team goals.
May educate, train, and oversee the activities of the Pharmacy Technician, Technician Externs and Volunteers.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients.
