About The Position
Supervise and coordinate workflow of the inpatient pharmacy technicians under the direction of the Manger, Central Operations. Work as a pharmacy technician when needed. Assist with the orientation and training of new employees.
Requirements
- GED or High School Diploma
- At least 12 months of pharmacy technician experience OR Currently enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy program OR Successfully completed a minimum of 24 semester hours of college level courses OR Successfully completed an ASHP-accredited technician training program OR Successfully completed the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
- Good mathematical skills
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform detailed tasks with accuracy
- Good organizational skills
- Good leadership and teaching skills
- Registered Pharmacy Intern in Florida or Registered Pharmacy Technician in Florida
- 1-2 years of experience (as detailed in the 'Required Education' section)
Nice To Haves
- One year supervisory experience
