Pharmacy Tech Specialist - Oncology- 1.0 FTE- Days
About The Position
The Pharmacy Tech Specialist performs complex, specialized pharmaceutical duties for the pharmacy department under the direct supervision of Registered Pharmacists and Pharmacy Management. This oncology position provides support across ProHealth Care's oncology pharmacy services in Waukesha County. Most shifts are at one of three ambulatory oncology pharmacies in Pewaukee, Mukwonago, or Oconomowoc; rotating weekend and holiday shifts take place at the Waukesha Memorial Hospital inpatient pharmacy. All shifts are day shifts, typically eight hours, with start times varying by site and shifts generally falling between 0600 and 1800.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license in good standing.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
- At least 6 months of sterile IV preparation experience and/or experience preparing chemotherapy, hazardous medications, or biologics.
