About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician performs various functions in the drug distribution, sterile product preparation, medication packaging, and patient billing under close observation of the pharmacist and general supervision of the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Services. Requirements
- Successful completion of a formal technician program or equivalent.
- 1+ years experience as a hospital pharmacy technician preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in mathematical calculations.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern License from the State of California is required.
- Valid California Driver’s License required if operating a motor vehicle for company business.
- Ability to adjust vision sufficiently to perform position accountabilities.
- Must be able to differentiate colors (color coded packaging/tablet identification).
