About The Position
Sentara is hiring a Pharmacy II Technician at Norfolk General Hospital! This is a full-time position with rotating shifts. The Pharmacy Technician II prepares sterile and non-sterile medications under the direction of a pharmacist. They are responsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe, effective, patient-focused, and cost-efficient drug therapy. This role performs all functions of Pharmacy Technician I & II positions.
Requirements
- Virginia Pharmacy Technician license REQUIRED
- 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience REQUIRED
- Pharmacy Technician Registration Number and Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) OR NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) REQUIRED
