About The Position

The Pharmacy Supply Chain Manager is responsible for providing relationship management for suppliers and collaboratively working with vendors to maintain a safe and effective supply chain for pharmaceuticals and related products. This role includes oversight of all purchasing and receiving of approved pharmaceuticals and related supplies, contract compliance, inventory management, external departmental requisitions, and storeroom management. The manager serves as the key point of contact for all pharmaceutical and related supply directives. They provide routine financial operating information, assist in budget preparation, and oversee the appropriate storage of medications as determined by the manufacturer, regulatory agencies, and/or federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or standards. Additionally, the manager oversees the disposition process for all expired or damaged pharmaceuticals and supervises departmental Material Handlers, providing input into their performance evaluations. Functions are performed utilizing appropriate technology.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 4 years experience in pharmaceutical and related supply procurement and inventory management
