About The Position

The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk, also referred to as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, prepares outgoing shipments and receives incoming shipments. The role organizes inventory for retrieval, reviews shipment schedules, and documents inventory damage to support productive shipping and receiving operations. The position works in a production or warehouse environment and requires regular presence on the production floor.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the production-floor environment, including at least eight hours of standing and walking, frequent movement between workstations, recurring bending, stooping, reaching, and stair or ladder climbing, equipment handling, and moving materials weighing up to 15 pounds with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process orders, including receiving and registering deliveries and distributing packages and letters within the company.
• Maintain the company stockroom by organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items regularly.
• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure sufficient storage space and staff are available for incoming items.
• Maintain records of goods shipped and received and prepare regular shipping and receiving reports for managers.
• Handle issues arising in shipping and inventory handling.
• Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints and resolve them.
• Place merchandise into storage by packaging and lifting items as necessary and operating lifting equipment and pallet jacks for large goods.
• Perform duties according to SelectRx’s philosophy and standards, conveying courtesy, respect, enthusiasm, and positive attitudes with clients, peers, and visitors.
• Maintain client and associate confidentiality.
• Understand and follow applicable departmental policies and procedures and the associate handbook.
• Perform other job-related tasks as directed by the VP of Operation.
