About The Position

Join Walmart’s pharmacy team as a Pre-Grad Intern to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. The role supports patient health and wellness by helping deliver pharmacy products and services safely and efficiently, while providing customer service and contributing to the pharmacy team’s goals. The position is located at 5110 Yelm Highway, Lacey, Washington.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Have the ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Be able to cater to individual patient needs.
• Commit to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Support patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
