Pharmacy MTM Clinic Technician
About The Position
The Ambulatory Clinic Technician assists pharmacists with routine duties in the ambulatory clinic. The role involves interacting with patients and providers in person and by phone, and maintaining clinic records in accordance with established policies and procedures. Technicians are expected to conduct themselves professionally and follow hospital policies and procedures, ethical and professional practices, accrediting-body standards (such as The Joint Commission, ACHC, or DNV), and applicable state and federal requirements. If cross-training is permissible, technicians may be asked to work in other areas.
Requirements
- Register with the Indiana Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire if a new registrant; previously registered applicants must have registration upon hire.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Previous pharmacy work experience is preferred.
