Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of practice.
  • Certification to administer immunizations as permitted by state law.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, motivate others, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the pharmacy team to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate care.
  • Manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
  • Accurately fill and verify prescriptions while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide meaningful patient counseling on prescription and over-the-counter medications.
  • Oversee the administration of immunizations and ensure all services meet company and state standards.
  • Maintain pharmacy records, inventory, and security in alignment with company policies and HIPAA requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance partners, and internal teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Hire, train, and mentor pharmacy team members, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with the local community and participate in outreach or wellness initiatives.
