About The Position
Join our Shields team today! Onsite in Phoenix, AZ, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM Shields Health Solutions is redefining patient care through specialty pharmacy. We’re hiring a Pharmacy Liaison—a Specialty Pharmacy Technician who will work onsite in a hospital clinic or hospital office building to support patients with medication adherence and personalized pharmacy services.
Requirements
- State-registered (Arizona) Pharmacy Technician; CPhT preferred
- 5+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician; High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication, organization, and tech skills
- Empathy, integrity, and a team-first mindset
Nice To Haves
- CPhT preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clinic teams to deliver hands-on patient care.
- Process prior authorizations, resolve insurance issues, and support financial assistance.
- Educate patients on pharmacy services and assist with specialty and retail prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to process improvements.
