About The Position

As the single point of contact for a specialty pharmacy patient, liaisons assess needs and provide support with every refill, coordinate drug delivery, address any new insurance and/or copay challenges, and monitor for adherence. When issues arise, they work across the care continuum with other clinical and pharmacy team members including the clinical pharmacist, the prescriber, and the clinic staff to ensure concerns are resolved quickly.

Requirements

Experienced pharmacy technicians who are registered with the State of employment.
2-5 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgement.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word.
Able to quickly learn other software programs and able to extract relevant information.
Strong organizational/administrative skills a must.
Solid computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for communication, documentation, and data management, as well as, navigating the internet and web-based platforms.
Data entry and computer skills will be evaluated through an assessment as part of the pre-employment process.

Nice To Haves

Nationally certified as a CPhT is preferred but not required.
5-8 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Knowledge of transplant, hepatitis C, infectious disease (including HIV), and/or oncology a plus.
