About The Position

CVS Health is seeking a third-year pharmacy intern to work as part of the pharmacy team and help deliver patient care. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the intern helps maintain a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment and provides care to patients. The role encompasses patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.

The intern supports the adoption and management of patient care programs and contributes to a team culture centered on empathy, collaboration, continuous improvement, and better health outcomes. The position is part-time. Its stated pay range is $20.00–$23.75. Requirements

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete required training within state guidelines and the required timeframe.
• Ability to attend work regularly and predictably, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to remain mobile and upright for extended periods; lift, scan, and bag items; use finger dexterity; reach overhead and in multiple directions; adjust machines precisely; and stoop and bend to move items between low and high positions.
• Close visual acuity for tasks such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and inspecting small parts.
• Ability to communicate information and instructions orally to colleagues and customers.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds, exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently, and exert negligible force constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

• Support patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
