About The Position

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Interns apply pharmacy-school learning in real-world practice and develop skills in preparation for a Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor, interns complete a comprehensive training roadmap that includes Key Learning Experiences, activities, and time with district leaders, while gaining an overview of store, district, and regional operations. They support pharmacy operations so prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, and patients receive caring service. Interns learn to follow Standard Operating Procedures, pharmacy best practices, and effective communication practices, while contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture. As tenure increases, they take on greater responsibility for the safety and effectiveness of pharmacy operations. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, they may also provide patient health care services such as immunizations and point-of-care testing. This is a part-time position. The typical pay range is $20.00–$23.75. Benefits depend on hours worked and eligibility and may include dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.
