About The Position

As a third-year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you work as part of the pharmacy team to help patients on their path to better health. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment and deliver care to patients. Your work includes patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.

A key part of the role is supporting the adoption and management of patient care programs. Interns are expected to demonstrate empathy and compassion, seek opportunities to learn and collaborate, align colleagues around the company’s purpose, and help foster a caring, energetic, enthusiastic, and proud team culture. Once state regulations are met, interns should strive to provide patient immunizations.

This is a part-time position. The stated pay range is $20.00–$23.75. The application window is anticipated to close on 12/25/2026.

Requirements

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete required training within state guidelines and the required timeframe.
• Ability to remain mobile and upright for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, scan, and bag items; occasionally lift up to 20 lbs and exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force constantly to move objects.
• Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing, or similar tasks.
• Ability to reach overhead and extend hands and arms in multiple directions to place, move, or lift items.
• Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions.
• Ability to stoop and bend at the waist to move items between low and high positions.
• Close visual acuity for tasks such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.
• Ability to communicate information and instructions orally to colleagues and customers.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
