About The Position

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Interns apply their pharmacy-school learning in a retail pharmacy setting while preparing for increased responsibility and a future Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor’s direction, interns complete a comprehensive training roadmap, including Key Learning Experiences, pharmacy activities, and time with district leaders. They gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while supporting pharmacy teams in providing safe, accurate, timely prescription fulfillment and caring patient service. Interns follow Standard Operating Procedures, best practices, and applicable laws and professional standards, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team culture. As tenure increases, they take on greater responsibility for the safety and effectiveness of pharmacy operations.
