About The Position
The Pharmacy Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside our Pharmacists providing valuable experience with flexible scheduling to complement their classroom studies.
Requirements
- NYS Pharmacy Intern Permit
- Current enrollment in or graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Available to work at least two shifts per week, one weeknight evening and one of the weekends (7.5 hour shift).
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Pharmacist with all secondary functions within the Pharmacy department including filling cassettes, bulk preparation of I.V. additives using sterile technique
- Processing incoming narcotics orders under the auspices of a Pharmacist and/or Supervisor
