NYP/Westchester-Pharmacy Intern – Per Diem
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is hiring pharmacy students for a per diem internship at its Bronxville, New York location. The hospital provides exposure to specialty areas, mentorship from experienced pharmacists, and opportunities to learn about current practices and technologies while contributing to the clinical team. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the pharmacy intern compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals and related items for safe and appropriate patient use of oncology drugs and chemotherapy. Multiple positions are available. Employees must work weekends and holidays; some positions also require overnight work and at least one weekday shift per week. The role requires on-site presence, and employees should live within commuting distance of NYP. Travel expenses are not reimbursed. The salary is $41.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Must hold a New York State Pharmacy Intern Permit.
- Must work weekends and holidays.
- Some positions require overnight work and at least one weekday shift per week.
- Must live within a commutable distance of NYP because the role requires on-site presence.

- Pharmacy student graduating in 2027 or 2028.
