About The Position

As a third-year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you work as part of the pharmacy team to help patients on their path to better health. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you help maintain a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment and deliver patient care. The role covers patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.

You help keep customers and patients healthy by supporting the adoption and management of patient care programs. You are expected to show empathy and compassion, collaborate to improve outcomes, support CVS Health’s purpose, and contribute to a caring, energetic, and enthusiastic team culture. Interns should strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

This is a part-time position. The stated pay range is $20.00–$23.75. The position is eligible for benefits and programs supporting colleagues’ physical, emotional, and financial well-being, depending on hours worked and eligibility. Requirements

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframes.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to remain mobile and upright for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, scan, and bag items; occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
• Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing, or other work primarily using fingers.
• Ability to reach overhead and extend hands and arms in multiple directions to place, move, or lift items.
• Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions.
• Ability to stoop and bend at the waist to move items between low and high positions, using the lower extremities and back muscles.
• Close visual acuity for tasks such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and inspecting small parts.
• Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers.
