Pharmacy Intern

CVS Health•Erie, PA

About The Position

CVS Health’s 3rd year Pharmacy Interns apply pharmacy-school learning in real-world practice while preparing for increased responsibility and a future Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor, interns complete a comprehensive training roadmap that includes Key Learning Experiences, activities, and time with district leaders, while gaining an overview of store, district, and regional operations. In the pharmacy, they support smooth operations and help ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. They learn pharmacy workflows, Standard Operating Procedures, best practices, effective communication, and how to contribute to a safe and inclusive culture. As their tenure increases, interns take on greater responsibility for pharmacy operations and patient care. Depending on applicable law and training, they may support services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. The role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to work at other stores in the market as business needs require. This is a part-time position. The stated pay range is $20.00–$23.75.
