Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Enter prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify prescription information for completeness and accuracy, including patient information, medication details, and prescriber instructions.
  • Communicate with prescribers and healthcare providers to clarify prescription information as needed.
  • Review and resolve any discrepancies or issues with prescription orders in collaboration with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff.
  • Assist with other pharmacy tasks as needed, including answering phone calls, providing customer service to patients, and maintaining pharmacy inventory.
