About The Position

We are seeking a Pharmacy Compliance Supervisor to oversee our new facility's operations, focusing on drug storage, shipping, recordkeeping, suspicious orders, diversion concerns, returns, recalls, record retention, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these areas, a clean professional/regulatory background, and the ability to support NABP accreditation and state licensing activities. This role also involves supervising repackaging activities and managing a team to execute shipment schedules and daily shipping/receiving operations. Responsibilities include verifying and maintaining records for incoming and outgoing shipments, comparing identifying information, counts, weights, or measures against documentation like bills of lading, invoices, and orders.

Requirements

  • Current Florida CDR and/or California Designated Representative licensure.
  • Strong knowledge of drug storage, shipping, recordkeeping, suspicious orders/diversion concerns, returns, recalls, record retention, and regulatory compliance.
  • Clean professional/regulatory background.
  • Capable of supporting NABP accreditation and state licensing activities.
  • Basic mathematic skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with computers to track various aspects of goods.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Communication proficiency.
  • Prior work experience using FedEx and UPS software tools.
  • Must have at least 2 years of relevant supervisory or managerial experience in pharmaceutical distribution, wholesale distribution, or pharmacy operations, with at least one year within the last three years.
  • Must be able to serve as the designated responsible person for the facility and be physically present full-time as required by applicable state law.

  • Excel Pivot Table and basic Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follows up daily on incoming receiving, ensuring received goods are processed in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a daily receiving and inventory log.
  • Prepares packing slips and other shipping documents for outgoing shipments.
  • Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Follows up on shipping schedules and requests, verifying if shipments are dispatched on time.
  • Ensures the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards, by identifying and properly handling suspicious materials.
  • Coordinates with shipping carriers, internal customers, and external customers.
  • Responsible for properly and accurately packing and appropriately labeling various types of shipments.
  • Ensures packing supplies (boxes, packing materials, labels, etc.) are properly stocked.
