About The Position

The Pharmacy Clinical Supervisor provides clinical, operational, and regulatory leadership for pharmacy services. Working in collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, this position oversees clinical pharmacy programs, medication-use safety initiatives, antimicrobial stewardship activities, smart infusion pump management, electronic health record medication content, and pharmacist supervision. The Pharmacy Clinical Supervisor serves as a clinical resource for pharmacists, providers, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to promote safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy required.
  • Current Colorado pharmacy license required.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience required.
  • Experience with antimicrobial stewardship, medication safety, and clinical pharmacy services required.
  • Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate or equivalent training required (on or after hire).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with smart infusion pump drug library management preferred.
  • Experience with MEDITECH order set development, clinical decision support, and EHR medication build preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Board Certification (e.g., BCPS) preferred.
  • ASHP accredited Pharmacy Residency PGY1 preferred.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
