About The Position

Provide exceptional customer service and support customers’ health and wellness in a safe, clean, inclusive environment. Deliver patient interventions and services as allowed by applicable state and federal laws, while demonstrating the company’s values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Assist the pharmacist with responsibilities that do not require professional judgment, and help ensure accurate, efficient prescription processing and dispensing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure.

Nice To Haves

• Previous comparable experience.
• Equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Understand and comply with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current national or state registration, certification, or licensure as required by the state.
• Assist the pharmacist with responsibilities that do not require a pharmacist’s professional judgment.
• Provide a strong customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing prescription reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Support the coaching and training of clerks and technicians.
• Compound medications according to state and other applicable regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information against computer records.
• Support non-dispensing services using available platforms, resources, and applications.
• Complete all aspects of CLIA-waived screenings consistent with applicable law and company policies.
• Provide additional health and wellness services permitted by state and other regulatory bodies.
• Follow and reinforce sanitation and safety rules, guidelines, procedures, and programs; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations and report illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
• Perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
