The Pharmacy Buyer oversees department purchasing and billing processes and assists with quality functions for regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for placing daily orders for pharmaceuticals and supplies to meet department needs, monitoring contract compliance, overseeing department billing processes and charge corrections, and ensuring regulatory compliance by coordinating quality functions and maintaining accurate documentation. The Pharmacy Buyer must also be competent in automation-related equipment and procedures, managing issues and maintenance.
