About The Position
Mint Health + Drugs is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join their team in Miracle, BC. Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year experience.
- High accuracy in reading prescriptions and labeling products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for patient interactions.
- Basic computer skills.
- A clear Criminal Record Check is mandatory.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with electronic health records and pharmacy software (experience with Kroll is a strong asset).
- Knowledge of software like Kroll.
Responsibilities
- Receive, input, and fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and packaging medication under supervision.
- Greet patients, manage phone inquiries, and process payments or insurance claims.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and remove expired products from shelves.
- Maintain electronic health records (Kroll), organize prescription files, and assist with general pharmacy cleanliness.
