Mint Health + Drugs is hiring for a part-time pharmacist in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
  • Active or eligible for registration with the applicable provincial pharmacy regulatory body
  • A satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search are required.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills, effective communication (verbal and written), and the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Experience using electronic health records (e.g., Kroll) and medication order entry systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a hospital setting or in direct patient care is often preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health, manage medication therapy for chronic/acute conditions, and provide education on medications.
  • Administer vaccinations (injections), adapt prescriptions, and manage drug therapy to prevent and treat health disorders.
  • Prepare, package, and distribute medications, ensuring accuracy in dosage, labeling, and storage.
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams (in clinics/hospitals) to optimize patient care and transition plans.
  • Act as a drug information resource for patients and other health professionals.
