About The Position
Bartlett Regional Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to join its Pharmacy team. Staff pharmacists interpret and evaluate provider orders to support safe, rational, and cost-effective drug therapy for patients at the hospital. They are responsible for accurate dispensing, monitoring drug therapy, communicating with providers involved in patient care, supporting adherence to BRH drug use policy, and providing pharmacotherapy education and information to physicians, nurses, and patients. The role also involves clinical projects and committee work as assigned. External hires start at $68.60 per hour, with step placement and pay determined based on relevant experience. For internal hires, step placement and pay are determined under applicable rules or union contract terms. New employees must produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in Alaska before starting employment.
Requirements
- State of Alaska Pharmacist License.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice or completion of a pharmacy practice residency in a hospital setting is preferred.
